Meet Amber Jackson

HEAD DESIGNER
As a true blue local of Mt. Pleasant, Amber Jackson wears her coastal love on her sleeve and it shows in her designs. With 7 years in the design industry, Amber brings a wealth of experience that ensures every project is in safe hands.

Starting her career in custom kitchen and bath design, Amber has designed spaces with custom cabinetry, countertops, tiles, appliances, and plumbing selections. She has also served as a Design Consultant for tile and stone in residential and commercial projects, including the notable 'Egg' House on Sullivan's Island.

Amber’s design style blends traditional Southern charm with modern elements, inspired by the Lowcountry's colors, textures, and history. She often incorporates blues and greens into her designs, drawing inspiration from Charleston's architecture and cobblestone streets.

Amber loves working with clients on their most treasured investment—their home. Her design philosophy is to create happy, lived-in, comfortable, and inviting spaces. Outside work, she enjoys needlepoint, yoga, collecting shells on the beach, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Her favorite part of the design process is Installation Day, where months (or even years) of planning come together seamlessly.

Meet Kathryn Dawson

DESIGN ASSISTANT
With 2 years in the design industry, Kathryn Dawson brings a unique blend of creativity and experience to Curated Designs. Retiring from an HR role at a local landscaping company, Kathryn has embraced her passion for interior design with a quirky, collected, and sentimental style.

Kathryn finds inspiration in antiquing, discovering hidden treasures, and the everyday life surrounding her. She loves creating spaces clients adore, helping them achieve their vision, and pulling everything together into a cohesive design.

Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys spending time at her mountain house, fly fishing, gardening, and watercoloring.

Kathryn's favorite part of the job is working alongside her oldest daughter, Amber. Together, they create beautiful designs and enjoy their daily adventures. Kathryn loves seeing clients' reactions on Design Day, when weeks of designing, sourcing, and collecting samples come together to create stunning spaces.

Kathryn stays current with design trends by attending furniture markets with Amber, where they discover new pieces, forecast trends, and find new vendors.
