Phase One
DISCOVERY CALL, CONSULTATION, AND FURNITURE INVESTMENT GUIDE
After our discovery call and in-home consultation, we'll gather all the information needed to create a customized letter of agreement and scope of work for your project. Once this is signed and the design fee is paid, the work will commence!
To assist in establishing a budget for your project going forward, we will provide you with our furniture investment guide. We understand the importance of staying within your budget and want to ensure that you are comfortable with the expenses associated with the selections and design phase.
Phase Two
THE DESIGN PROCESS: CREATING YOUR DREAM HOME
At our company, we take the design process seriously. We start by having conversations with you to understand how you live in your home, whether you have kids or pets, and what kind of style you're looking for. We are also mindful of your budget when making selections.
This phase can last anywhere from 4-8 weeks, depending on the scope of the project. During this time, we will keep you informed with weekly check-in emails and be available to answer any questions or address any changes you may have.
Once we have collected samples for each room in your home, we will create design proposals and prepare for our design presentation. Our goal is to create a space that is uniquely tailored to your vision and needs, and we look forward to working with you every step of the way.
Phase Three
EXCITING DESIGN PRESENTATION DAY!
We are thrilled to invite you to our studio for an exclusive presentation of our work. We will explore each room and what we've curated for your home, providing detailed descriptions and scaled furniture layouts to help you visualize how the space will come to life.
After the presentation, we will gather your feedback and approved selections to create a comprehensive proposal for each room. If any revisions are necessary (two revisions per room), we will make those and send them to you for approval.
By the end of Phase Three, we aim to have all selections ready for your final approval and sign off.
Phase Four
MANAGING YOUR PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH
At Simply Curated Designs, we offer a convenient Trade Day where we can measure your property for custom pieces, including wallpaper, window treatments and more. If you can't be there in person, we're happy to meet with our tradespeople on-site to take these necessary measurements. Once we have these numbers, we'll move on to invoicing, which is based on approved proposals and includes installation for any materials we've gathered on Trade Day. Remember, all invoices must be paid in full before we can proceed with ordering.
During the ordering and procurement phase, our dedicated team handles all the logistics of placing orders with our vendors. We stay in constant communication with our receiving warehouse during inspections to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Rest assured, we'll take care of your project from start to finish.
Phase Five
INSTALLATION DAY!
The last step in your project is the exciting Installation Day. Once all items are received and inspected, we will schedule our installation day (or two). Our delivery team will handle all aspects of installation –from hanging art and mirrors to setting up window treatments and arranging furnishings. We will style and accessorize every room according to the design boards, ensuring that every detail is perfect. You can expect fluffed pillows, lit candles, and a stunning reveal that will take your breath away!
